Drew Schroeder - Golfer and Son of SCS Employee

Drew Schroeder is a senior at Briarwood High School in Birmingham, Alabama, whose father, Andy, works at South Central Steel (SCS), which provides high-quality fabricated structural steel to companies in the commercial and industrial construction industry. For his part, Drew Schroeder works part-time as a sales associate with Cutco Knives, where he is responsible for creating presentations to entice prospective customers to purchase products. His main focus, however, is on his education; upon graduating in 2019, he plans on attending business school at Auburn University.

When he isn't studying or working, Drew Schroeder enjoys playing golf. He is among the best in his age group in all of Alabama and has earned entry to compete in the Alabama State Amateur Open and State Jr. Am, among other tournaments. He earned entry to the latter by scoring a four over par and finishing tied for 19th in a field of 56 participants at a sectional qualifying tournament in Glencoe.
